Every year I had to watch the World Series no matter what team was in it. The ending always got me pumped up. The final out was my favorite part. All the players would storm the field and dog pile one another. They would tackle with such force to express their emotion for all they have gone through together. Each player would then embrace peace of mind and felt completely satisfied. If you had a moment like that where you dog piled. Go back to that feeling and remember how you felt. Such a relief and satisfaction!
“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” Luke 15:20 NLT
Today, I wanted to share that everyone can have those moments, daily. We get so caught up in the businesses of life that sometimes distracts us from the goodness of life that is constantly around us. I for one fall victim to forgetting God’s love for me and it comes from His grace. Grace is unmerited favor that is unconditional, never failing, and never ending. Let me put it like this. You are in the outfield. You just made the last out of the World Series and in a blink of an eye you are on the ground tackled by God’s radiant love. When He looks at us. All he wants to do is embrace us. He is completely filled with love and compassion. That’s the true nature of God when he looks at His creation, you.
“For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.” Psalms 57:10 NLT
“The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” Psalms 103:8 NLT
“The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” Psalms 145:8
We live in a world that tries to remind who you’re not. That you will never be able to lose that particular weight. You will not be able to get that job or be able to be blessed for that special someone in your life. The world constantly tires to make you doubt, so it can take you out. The word of God tries to remind you who and whose you are. You are highly adored, cherished, and never given up on. That is just the character of God and who He is. Majority of our days just need to be spent embracing His unconditional grace and favor over us. This results in spiritually and mentally inner strength which pours into our physical strength.

Grace always precedes peace. Paul says it seven times in seven different books in the bible. You cannot have peace until you embrace grace. You can look everywhere you want, but it’s only when you embrace grace you can truly have peace. Once, you embrace grace you will be able to run your race. A race where you can run freely and joyfully. You will have an abundance of energy and will be able to go nonstop all the way to eternity.
Embrace grace to get that energy to run your individual race! God’s unfailing and always enduring love! Grace lets us know we are loved. Once we know we are loved we can go be love. This love will empower us to love others and ourselves. This kind of love will make you see how important it is to take care of yourself as you take care of others. This will allow you to live an abundant life physically, so you can help people consistently. So, what do we need to do? Is just Embrace Grace! Every day and every moment. Once you take on grace. You will have peace and be ready to run your life’s race at your necessary pace.
Thank you Lord for your grace! I pray for all that are reading this post that the Lords grace and peace be with you. May he give you inner strength through his spirit to help you overcome anything that comes in your way. Then whatever challenge you decide to take on. Whatever training regimen or battle you will face. You will overcome because a never failing God lives within you. That same character of God will become you and you will persist and never give up.
Prayer:
Lord,
I want to just thank you for your grace. A grace that far exceeds our mind. A grace that brings peace that far exceeds our understanding. Today, I embrace grace. I will walk in peace. Each step I take I will inhale grace and exhale peace. Then I can have endurance to run the race you set out before me. I know you are there with me. I am grateful for all you have done for me today. I accept your grace. Amen
