The next step to becoming the best version of yourself is taking a certain posture in this world that will open the gates of Heaven over you. This posture is humility. Both in a physical and figurative posture. Physically we need to kneel and see God for who He truly is. Secondly, our hearts need to be humbled with the realization that we can't live life on our own work. Humility sets aside your personal agenda and ignites willingness to serve. Being humble allows you to recognize the best in others and yourself. Without it we are blinded by selfishness and sinful desires.
Humility is a character quality everyone should bestow. Humility is what we should strive to become. The best way I do this is to literally posture myself on the floor, kneel, and just recognize how great God is. He is our amazing Creator and Author of our faith. He is literally the answer to all life itself. When it comes to humility, we need to learn to humble ourselves before God. Yes, humble yourself around people as well, but it’s God first.
When we humble ourselves under Him, we are doing it under His mighty power. What is God’s mighty power? It is the power that began all creation. The very power that created the universe, the heavens, the whole earth, life itself, and you. Take a moment to look outside. Realize all you see and have came from God. Watch space documentaries and just see the vastness and endless creativity of the universe, which describes are God so well. Then make sure to look in the mirror and take a real look at yourself. Remove any thing that is negative but truly look at see who you see. The human body is the most amazing creation. There are so many different systems within working simultaneously and do not forget our mind. Our thoughts have enough energy to ignite a light bulb. All human advances have come from the human mind that God created. Secondly, is resurrection power that raises people from the dead. God can make anything out of nothing. He can resurrect your life and give you more vitality. This mighty power also rose Jesus from the dead which is the foundation of the Christian faith. Lastly, It is power of love that is enduring, which is healing to everyone physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Recognize His power and humble yourself under Him. Declare His majesty in your personal life. Realize how amazing God is and truly see how much he loves you. Humility will bring you tranquility and give you invincibility. The more you humble yourself the easier it will be to live life stress free. There will be this sense of peace and awe that comes over you. You won’t be as afraid as you used too. You will be able to control your attitude and actions more instead of worrying about life outside of your control. You will also have this strength within you that surges. A that that is confident. A strength that is under-control. In other words, you will be meek and be able to face fear.
Learn to humble yourself under God’s mighty power. Similar to Christ humbling himself to bear the sins of the world. There is power in humility. The key is recognizing and realizing God’s mighty power of resurrection, creation, and righteousness.
